The Red Hat Society
- Mississauga Chapter -

Meeting for afternoon tea and having fun doing it, is the motto of the Mississauga chapter of the Red Hat Society.
This chapter began as a result of a few women deciding to meet middle age with verve, humour and élan!

Although the spirit of the society is against rules, we have adopted some criteria. Red Hats and Purple attire are a must to attend functions. Tea is always served but it could take place at a picnic, on a boat, by a pool or wherever our members plan for the next adventure.

Meeting once a month to form a bond of friendship and enthusiasm for wherever life takes us, we have grown from the founding group of 6 to almost 50 members! Each month different members plan and organize a meeting. Our meetings have ranged from pool parties, card parties, trips to Niagara, Butterfly Arboretum, the theatre and much more.

And…. Our enthusiasm has led to the creation of many additional small subgroups from golfing to a book club, shopping club, euchre club, bridge club...just to mention a few!
